Period underwear is a sustainable and healthy alternative to disposable tampons and pads. Inside the period underwear is an ultra-thin technology of 4 layers that absorbs blood and prevents it from leaking:
- The first layer absorbs blood and keeps you completely dry. It is made of certified organic cotton.
- The second layer retains blood inside the period panties and absorbs odors. It is made of eucalyptus fiber, which is known for its anti-odor properties.
- The third layer is made of waterproof fabric and prevents blood from leaking out.
- The last layer is made of high quality organic cotton and makes your period underwear look just like regular panties.
The underwear contains no silver nanoparticles and is free of other biocides.
Upper material: 95% organic cotton, 5% elastane (Lycra)
Absorbent inner layers: 59% Lyocell (eucalyptus fiber), 36% polyester, 5% polyurethane

Usage
The use of period underwear is very simple: you put them in the morning, spend the whole day wearing them and then wash them in the evening. Pourprées period underwear keeps you dry for 8-12 hours without leaking, bad odors and an unpleasant moist feeling. You can reuse the panties for about 5 years.
Care instructions
After using the underwear, first rinse it with cold water. Afterwards you can wash them together with the rest of your laundry at 30˚ or 40˚degrees. To protect the lace and the technology inside, it is recommended to wash the underwear in the delicate wash program and in a laundry net. Please refrain from using fabric softener and do not put your period panties in the dryer.
